THE CHALLENGE
Penalties of up to € 35 million or up to 7% of the annual worldwide turnover
The dynamic world of artificial intelligence brings not only opportunities, but also risks for the safety, health and fundamental rights of people and society. The EU is trying to counteract this with the AI Regulation and penalties of up to EUR 35 million or up to 7% of annual global turnover. (see sanctions in EU-AI-ACT Article 99/Paragraph 3) At the same time, the complex EU AI Regulation, which must be taken into account throughout the entire AI lifecycle, presents companies with major challenges and ongoing documentation obligations.
Technical requirements
The AI Act requires strict technical standards for AI systems, such as risk management, data quality, transparency, human oversight and robustness, which poses particular challenges for smaller companies.
Complexity and uncertainty
Many companies are concerned about the complexity and uncertainties of the new legislation, especially in the categorization and regulations for high-risk and generative AI systems.
Time pressure
The EU-AI-ACT is already in force and now the first requirements must be implemented within the first 6 months in order to avoid penalties.
This means that companies need to act quickly.

OUR SOLUTIONS
How we bring your AI application into in line with the EU-AI-ACT Consistency with the EU-AI-ACT
Recognize the risks of your AI applications before they arise,
and always remain compliant with regulations.
and always remain compliant with regulations.
In order to better assess the risks of an AI application, you should ask yourself which persons or groups of persons could be affected. This will reveal the legal and ethical risks associated with your AI project that could potentially cause legal, financial and reputational damage.
Legal risks and ethical weaknesses associated with the development of an AI system will become apparent sooner or later. These risks can potentially cause legal, financial and reputational damage. Careful analysis and continuous monitoring of your AI project are therefore essential to minimize these risks and ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as the EU AI Act and the GDPR.
Our AI compliance tracker enables you to continuously monitor your AI applications. You can enter changes in your system directly and ensure that your applications always comply with the latest legal requirements. This way, you remain AI-ACT compliant with every legal change.
