Practical Guide to the AI Regulation
Deploying Artificial Intelligence Compliantly in the Private and Public Sectors

It was an up-and-down journey in the meantime because
- the initial draft ultimately changed significantly.
- there is still little information on the detailed interpretations of the AI Regulation.
- one year is an ambitious timeframe for a comprehensive professional book.
- coordination among the various authors takes a lot of time.
- we made sure to link other relevant laws in the text.
- we are using the new eSolution from Hanser Verlag, which offers many benefits to readers but requires considerable effort from us as authors.
My personal thanks to Natascha Windholz, who took on the coordination between us authors and Hanser Verlag and did an outstanding job. “Thank you for always handling my late submissions so promptly. I promise to do better for the next editions. I swear!

And thank you to all the reviewers for your valuable feedback. You improved the text and motivated me to create better overviews, include practical checklists, and add templates.
I wish all readers valuable insights into the new EU AI Regulation.
